Tabarka is a small coastal town in northwestern Tunisia, backed by forested hills and known for its offshore coral. Tabarka-Aïn Draham Airport serves the area, and it has a marina and port.
A Genoese trading company held the offshore islet in the 16th and 17th centuries, leaving a fort still standing. The town later grew around fishing and coral harvesting.
