Marsh Harbour is the largest town in the Abaco Islands, served by Leonard M. Thompson International Airport (MHH) and a busy working harbor with ferries to the surrounding cays. It is the Bahamas' third-largest town.
The settlement grew in the 18th and 19th centuries around boatbuilding and sponging. It was heavily damaged by Hurricane Dorian in 2019 and has since been rebuilding.
