Delaware's quiet capital — America's second-oldest state house and the Monster Mile NASCAR oval

Dover is the capital of Delaware, America's first state and smallest in population. The Old State House (1792) is the second-oldest still-in-use state capitol in the US, and the downtown green is a well-preserved piece of colonial America. Dover is also home to Dover Downs, the NASCAR track nicknamed 'The Monster Mile,' and Dover Air Force Base with its Air Mobility Command Museum housing a massive collection of US military transport aircraft.
